Pickleball is currently taking over. Invented in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, located by Seattle, the sport was created as a way to prevent boredom. The sport combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong, as noted by USA Pickleball. Played both indoors and outdoors, the court closely resembles a badminton court. Pickleball requires a paddle constructed from either wood or composite material and a rather unique ball with holes. At Chloe's, we recommend the Vobab balls since they are USAPA approved and great for all-year-round play.
The coastal pickleball paddles, available at Chloe's adds style to your game. The paddles contain a polypropylene core, graphite finish, and widebody design that is ideal for players of all skill levels. They measure 15.75" x 8" with a grip handle of 5" and weigh 8.0 - 8.2oz.
